Webcam guidelines

There are 4 possible ways to position your head, all depending which guidelines are displayed in the webcam output. The important thing to know is what the difference is between "top of hair" and what we mean by the "crown". Crown is where the skull would be if it was visible (excluding hair) and "top of hair" is, well the top of your hair.

Position 1
Place the bottom of your chin and eyes on the corresponding guidelines.
Place the top of your hair inside the "top of hair range".
The eyes guideline is only displayed if the passport width and height are both 2x2 in (or 50.8x50.8 mm).
The eye height is set to 1.24 in (31 mm) from the bottom of the photo to the eyes.
